Our mission focuses on transparency and ethics within our departments, enhancing accountability through performance measurement and management initiatives. We remn steadfast in reducing risks associated with fraud and abuse across all Treasury operations, be it internally or externally.

An integral part of our commitment is strengthening oversight over programs from the Department of State Treasurer. We m to integrate ethical best practices for affiliated boards, governments, and vors alike.

The Department has enacted several policies med at increasing transparency and bolstering oversight for the North Carolina Retirement Systems and our own organization. We have established new guidelines covering post-employment, ethics, travel, and placement agents.
